Defining the Enterprise – People, Technology, Business, and More

A well-documented, well-understood enterprise architecture defines how information and technology will support the business operations and provide benefit for the business.   An effective EA serves as a ready reference that allows the organization to assess the impact of changes on each of the EA components. It also ensures the components continue to operate smoothly through the changes.

At TechTrend we help our customers design EAs that illustrate the organization’s core government mission, each component critical to performing that mission, and how each of these components is interrelated. These components include organizational structure, business processes, people/stakeholders, applications and data, and technologies upon which networks and systems are built.

As always, our approach is specific to government IT, and we are proficient in our understanding of OMB FEAF and DoDAF 2.0 Architecture frameworks.
